We have been going to Sweet Tops for years and have really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, after the new ownership (2 summers ago) we, and our friends, noticed the quality of the ice cream going down. They changed out the waffle cones to something that tastes artificial and it also leaks. Their soft served ice cream is now really "watered" down, to the point that it starts to run over the cup while you are paying. This place used to be soooooo good. Our family will be looking for a new quality ice cream shop.
My daughter and I really enjoyed the milkshake and blueberry Sundae from this small store. This is a great little shop with very friendly and helpful serving staff. Highly recommended!
Used to be a very good place for ice cream. My family and I would go there all the time, but now the owners have changed everything terrible service. The service is so slow and the people working there clearly do not know how to make a good ice cream cone with ice cream. For the price of each ice cream they should be more generous with what they are serving. I’m eating more cone, than ice cream and that’s not what it should be like. Until they change the way they run the place I will most certainly not be going back.
Great selection of I think all home made icecream, flavors are plentiful and varied, plus you have the option of take-home liters and icecream cakes! When the fall hits their pumpkin icecream is amazing - also heavily underrated is the no sugar added cherry, amazing! If you have little ones there's a school play structure right next door that they can burn some of the sugar-rush off before heading home, if you have a fur-baby they also have doggy-sized options - overall a great place, one of my favorite in the city.
One of the best in the city. Very generous servings and reasonably priced to boot.
