My friend ordered cantaloupe bubble tea but the guy who took the order made taro instead and when she mentioned she ordered cantaloupe, he argued back saying it was taro and that he punched in taro and walked away to the back. Didn’t bother to try and fix the mistake or meet us in the middle. I don’t know if his attitude is due to a bad day but it was a terrible customer experience.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I are regulars at Mikan, but we noticed for a few months that the guy who works the front counter and answers the calls for pick up orders (I think he's the owner but not sure) does not seem to enjoy his job anymore and gives poor customer service. This has turned us off from ever going to Mikan again. I forgot the name of one of the rolls and asked for a spicy tuna roll. Rather than asking if I meant the spicy tuna maki, he just told me they do not offer that roll. You would think that a business would want to make money and be more helpful and suggest what kind of roll is closest to that or double check if the customer meant "maki" instead of roll. He always sounds so rude on the phone as well. When we first started going to Mikan, we were pleased with the service, but now we will sadly look for a new go-to sushi place that appreciates our business and is kind to us.
Pretty sure the guy who works there hates his job and anybody who comes in.
Food tastes good, but service is poor. The man at the front desk seemed annoyed by me from the very beginning and wasn't very helpful.
Great menu and lunch buffet. Great quality.
